Admissions consultations at existing local schools:

Although RISC began its life looking at plans for new schools in Richmond Borough, it's now starting to monitor admissions consultations for established schools, in line with our aim to "identify and challenge any cases where existing local state-funded schools try to introduce or increase discrimination in admissions on the basis of religion or belief".

As the comments from the 2013 primary admissions round show, there are areas in the borough where its difficult to get a school place if you're not a church-goer, and the church schools can help to alleviate the pressure on families by opening up their admissions to the whole of their local communities.

We'll add more information to this page as the process evolves.
